So many find themselves frustrated, old skills and knowledge and fierce determination isn’t enough. Technological advances allow for the middle men to be squeezed out, along with anyone or anything that doesn’t bring value to a business.
What to do?
Go to school.
I’m learning that much of the stimulus money has been filtered into the college system, even at the graduate level. Online Universities make it possible for those who lack resources or time to attend traditional school to pursue academic goals, and financial aid is there to make it possible.
Doing something is better than doing nothing, and though it may be a reality check of just how rusty our brain gets with age and lack of exercise, that feeling of pride with earning an A proves to be as exhilarating as ever!
I’ve recently helped a friend apply for financial aid and uncovered additional grants he may be eligible for as he pursues his engineering degree, which with any luck may mean thousands that go towards his tuition which may not have to be paid back.. again, with luck, as we keep our fingers crossed that funding is still available to tap into.
